Converse once again partners with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design, this time to create a pack of Tuxedo clad All Star ’70s. The four styles in the collection feature premium suiting twill for the uppers as well as subtle Fragment co-branding.
Additional nods to the men’s formal wear staple include a satin heel and a singular black stripe on the lace aglet, representing the sneaker equivalents of both a tuxedo lapel and bow tie. For a “hers” option, the white colorway features subtle lace detailing on the heel stay, mimicking the material of a wedding gown.
The Converse x Fragment Design Tuxedo Collection will be available at select stockists across the region from this Friday onwards.
