With the launch of their latest communication campaign ‘Watch Beyond’, Bell & Ross encourages everyone to look beyond and to plunge into the universe of air, land, and water. We had the chance to get a closer look at the collections recently and here are some of our favourite picks:
AIR: Imagine the pilot behind
The iconic ‘circle within a square’ watch with graphic lines was first released in 2005 and today, the brand takes a further step by launching BR03-92 Horograph and the BR03-92 Horolum, two models that an invitation to travel.
BR 03-92 HOROGRAPH
For the first time in a square steel case, the finish is matte and therefore anti-reflective, avoiding reverberations in sunlight. The design of the dial is simple. The baton indexes, reinforced by baton-shaped hands, a display that is now a classic in the world of watchmaking.
BR 03-92 HOROLUM (Limited 500 pieces)
This model evokes light (“lumen”) and readability. The Superluminova coating facilitates reading by day and night. The colour used to light up the airport runways is found on the dial of this watch. A watch that is very well suited for night owls.
LAND: The World of Performance
The Phantom concept, launched in 2007, and the Commando collection in 2009, fit perfectly into the professional military milieu. These avant-garde timepieces were among the first to use a camouflage coating in a horological setting.
BR o3-92 BLACK CAMO
The new Black Camo is the latest addition to the successful series of Bell & Ross camouflage watches. For this model, the brand has developed an original military-type tricolour coating, with a patchwork of matte greys on its dial. The third link of the camouflage family, the Black Camo is perfect for extreme professional situations and also for the everyday great adventures.
MARINE: Building on the Strong Links Forged with the Maritime World
In 1997, Bell & Ross became the leader in professional diving watches with the launch of the HYDROMAX®, an iconic model which still holds one of the most impressive records in the history of diving watch production – it can withstand a pressure equivalent to a depth of 11,100 metres. 10 years later, the brand launched a new collection featuring its tonneau-shaped case, its helium decomposition valve and its ultra-resilent domed sapphire crystal. Today the new BR 03-92 Diver watch is writing a brand new chapter in the story of the brand’s relationship with the oceanic world.
BR 03-92 DIVER
The third generation diver is the first square diving watch from Bell & Ross which offers water resistance to 300 metres and driven by a Swiss self-winding mechanical movement with proven robustness and accuracy. The watch comes in a water-resistant PELICAN® box, and is available with two straps: the first made from woven black rubber with a steel pin buckle, and second is in ultra-resilient black synthetic fabric.
