After snagging the top spot of the most popular artist on Spotify last June, reggaeton star J Balvin is now ready to make his mark in the fashion realm. Teaming up with GUESS, the partnership makes him the first Latino to lead a campaign for the brand.
Titled ‘GUESS Vibras’, the vibrant 42-piece collection is inspired by Balvin’s chart-topping ‘VIBRAS’ album and includes a selection of ready-to-wear and accessories for both men and women.
Highlights from the men’s collection include the colour-blocked denim and vibrant track suits and oversized men’s tee dipped in red, yellow, and green tie-dye among others.
“Everything in this capsule is very 90’s Miami inspired,” says J Balvin. “The collection is about ‘Vibras’; nice energy nice vibes, just smile and that’s what we need, all love.”
The women’s collection offers a series of oversized cut-off crops and tank tops. Colour-blocked cut-off denim shorts and vest in royal blue, golden yellow, deep red, and green are the stand out pieces of the capsule collection.
