Air Dior Launches In Singapore

During his time at Louis Vuitton, Dior Homme Creative Director Kim Jones made the unthinkable happen by bringing together Supreme and LV in a move that solidified the new economics of “hype” in high fashion.

Now, it seems that he’s managed to set the world of streetwear and high fashion on fire again by pairing up Dior with Jordan Brand.

The Air Dior collection is releasing at the peak of demand for Jordans, no doubt driven by the success of the Last Dance documentary that reminded everyone how great MJ and the Bulls were.

The highlights of the collection are undoubtedly the made in Italy Jordan 1 Highs and Lows. Even though both pair’s production numbers are well into the thousands, resale prices are currently in the USD10K range, such is the demand for a piece of this rarified Air.

Here’s a look into the collection launch at Singapore’s Dior store at Ngee Ann City.
