“New Balance footwear has always been about taking people to places in the utmost of comfort,†said Qing Ni, New Balance’s Regional Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific. “The Transportation Series is a clever way of representing the three different ways our shoes find their way from the factory to retail outlets around the world.â€
“Like the successful launch of the 574 Hungry Dragon collection, we anticipate the Transportation Series to be snapped up in no time at all,†added Ms Ni.
The Transportation Series concept, design and development was managed by New Balance International Product Manager, Jennifer King.
“Producing New Balance footwear and ensuring our products reach distribution channels on time takes a huge amount of logistical planning,†she explained. “So by creating three designs based around land, sea and air maps we encompassed all forms of transportation we use to deliver our shoes to customers the world over.â€
