Coca-Cola’s 125th Anniversary

By streething, May 29, 2011

Coca-Cola is celebrating its 125th Anniversary this year and they sure are going big. More than a century old, the brand is tracing back to its roots by remaking vintage Coca-Cola bottles and a new display at the Design Museum in London that features the changes in design the brand has made over the years, most notable is a vintage syrup dispenser from 1886.

For those of us who aren’t in London, or going there anytime soon, Assouline has created a Coca-Cola iPad app that will allow you to go through the brand’s milestones. Or if you’re more traditional and prefer something more tactile, you could purchase the Coca-Cola 125th Anniversary Presentation Book that consists of photographs, advertisements and every thing to do with Coca-Cola. You can purchase a copy at Assouline for USD$650.

Coca-Cola also has not forgotten about you street rats. Working together with Clot and famed illustrator James Jarvis, the brand has produced a T-shirt, iPhone 4 case, iPad 2 case, a Casio G-Shock watch, Subcrew cap, Native Fritzsimmons boots, Head Porter Messenger Bag. All items are available at JUICE Hong Kong.

So join Coca-Cola in celebrating their 125th Anniversary and get an iconic memorabilia for yourself.
