For Spring/Summer '12, Dr. Martens will be continuing with their #FIRSTANDFOREVER theme that began last season.
Once again, Agyness Deyn and Ash Stymest return as the faces of the campaign. This set of pictures and short film see the pair portraying a moment in time that was their first and will last forever - their 'First Love'.
The visuals provide a taste of things to come from the new collection, such as the usage of bold chalky hues and new materials such as fish skin.
The collection will be available soon at Dr. Martens stores in Singapore as well as select stockists across Southeast Asia. Follow Dr. Martens Singapore on Twitter so you know exactly when the shoes reach their stores!
'First Love' Instagram Contest
Also, in line with the whole 'First Love' theme and Valentine's Day being just around the corner, we've teamed up with Dr. Martens to bring you a loved-up Instagram contest!
The spoils of victory are a pair of Laneway Festival 2012 (Singapore) tickets AND two pairs of couple shoes each for three winners. (2 tix + 2 kicks x 3)
See, Streething loves you long time, and so does Dr. Martens too!
So what would you need to do in order to stand a chance of winning? Simple, first you need to follow Streething on Instagram (@streeth1ng), then just share with us a moment that represents the theme of "First Love".
The winners will be picked by Dr. Martens Singapore, so try catch their eye with some creative photography or a bit of quirky humour, or how about some of the lovey-dovey things that couples do? If those aren't your area of expertise then remember to include something to do with Dr. Martens to score some extra brownie points. Everything's fair game in love and war!
You can enter as many times as you want, get your partner (or partner to be, or friend who just wants free stuff etc) to submit their entries too so you can effectively double your chances of winning, just remember to include the #FIRSTLOVE and #streeth1ng hashtags.
If you don't have an Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod to use Instagram, then get a friend who does to let you use theirs. Just make sure they don't run off with your prizes!
*The deadline is February 6th, 2012. All winners will be notfied the following day and must be able to collect (or have somebody collect on their behalf) their prizes in Singapore within three days or they will go to the next person.
