Sony Announces ‘Nex-C3′ and ‘Alpha A35′ Cameras

By streething, June 12, 2011

Taking the place of the Sony Nex-3 is the Nex-C3 which comes with an improved resolution of 16.2 megapixels. The Sony Nex-C3 also features a 3-inch LCD screen and has a Photo Creativity interface that makes it simpler for those not familiar with manual adjustments. Sony has also introduced the Alpha A35, the successor of Alpha A33, but disappointingly does not have any reasonable improvements.

New to the Sony family as well is a 30mm f/3.5 macro lens, good for those looking for a traditional 50mm equivalent filed of view with close-up ability. The new flash unit also looks to provide some improved flash capability to the NEX line.
