Nike 'Air Force 1 Low' 30th Anniversary Series
You wouldn't know it, but Nike is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their iconic Air Force 1 sneaker this year. A far cry from the mountain of releases, collabs and events we were bombarded with back five years ago when the classic kicks turned 25. Here's a first look at a couple of the first releases from the "XXX" series.
First off, both these new Air Force 1s are the nicest we've seen in a long time. The classic white-on-white and black-on-black colour schemes have been given a twist courtesy of a nice mix of materials
The white versions features uppers constructed mainly from 3M light reflective synthetic leather, while the translucent soles are slightly off-white, which makes for subtle contrast to a simple colour scheme.
The blacks employ a denim fabric almost all over the shoes, including the midsoles! Black nubuck leather is used for the swooshes, on the heels and as piping around the panels, again providing rather interesting details for a basic colourway.
If you're fiending for a pair of Air Force 1s, try these quickstrikes on at Limited Edt Vault when they release in early March.
